フランスの風土を成城の街に、、、美容院　brut / hairdresser “brut” (English below)

今回私たちは、成城学園前駅北口から徒歩２分、とてもアクセスの良い赤レンガ造りのビルの一階にある美容院brutにお伺いしました。

店主のKeigoさん、副店長の秋葉さん、従業員の五十嵐さん。

お三方ともとても明るく、優しく丁寧にインタビューに応えて下さいました！！

 

 

ガラス張りの店構えは道路からも店内がよく見渡せて、とても入りやすい雰囲気のお店です。

 

創業は1978年、2006年にはリニューアルをして現在のフランス風のオシャレな美容院になりました。

創業当時は、現在の店舗の半分の広さで、地域に根付くファミリーサロンのようなサービス体系だったそうです。

 

そして、 2008年に店舗を拡大した際、店主のKeigoさんが昔フランスに在住していた経験から、新たにフランスの美容院をイメージし、オシャレで落ち着いた雰囲気のあるより一層クオリティの高い美容院に生まれ変わりました。

都心に行かなくても、お客様を満足させることのできるハイセンスな美容院を作りたかったとのことでした。

 

 

 

 

 

来店するお客様は、30代から40代の女性が多いということで、成城に住まわれるセレブに人気のある美容院です！！

また、日本の美容院のサービス平均時間が15～30分程のところ、brutさんはフランスの美容院をイメージし一人のお客様に、約1時間のサービスを行い、一人一人のお客様との距離が近いのが特徴です。

お客様の理想のヘアスタイル、髪質などを伺い、マンツーマンで相談しながら答えを出し、サービスを提供していく提案型サロンがbrutさんの持つ魅力の一つです。

 

このようにお客様にあわせたサービスを提供できるのも、brutさんが愛されている理由なのではないでしょうか。

French style in the town of Seijo ,, hairdresser “brut”

 

For our report, we visited hairdresser “brut”, in an easily accessible red brick building, a two minute walk from the North exit of Seijo gakuenmae Station.

The staff were very bright and kindly responded to our request for an interview!!

 

The inside of the glass-fronted shop can easily be seen from the street, and it has a very accessible atmosphere.

 

Founded in 1978, the shop was renovated in 2006, reopening in its current form as a fashionable, French style hair salon.

 

When it was founded, the salon was half the size of the current shop, and served the families of the local area. Then, when the shop was enlarged in 2008, the store owner, Keigo-san, drew on his memories of having lived in France long ago to create a new, high quality salon with a fashionable and relaxed atmosphere, in the style of a French hair salon.

 

The idea was to create a stylish hair salon where customers could be satisfied without having to travel into the city centre. Many of the shop’s customers are women in their thirties and forties, and the shop has become very popular with stylish people living in Seijo.

In addition, when the average service time of a Japanese hairdresser is around 15 to 30 minutes, the idea of brut is to provide a French style salon experience, and each customer is served for about an hour, creating a real closeness between staff and customers.

 

One of brut’s special charms is the “proposal-style” of service, where the staff will ideal hairstyles and hair quality with each customer individually.

Surely this kind of service, individually tailored to the customer, is one of the reasons that brut is so well-loved in the area.

 

When purchasing products such as wax and hair spray, brut employees discuss the products so that they purchase goods that are carefully selected, regardless of the brand, and whose prices are kept to within a certain range.

The charm of the shop was created by the manager, Keigo-san, who had experienced French style firsthand, and we were able to get a real feeling of this sophisticated service system, from customer service to shop atmosphere and the purchase of goods.
